This is maybe the closest we get on posting dubstep since 2010, yet it ain’t really dubstep, but let’s stick to the term bass music or future bass. Dubstep have got itself a terrible rumor.

We don’t check out new followers that often, but now and then it happens, specially when wicked names like Chugawamba pop-up. Having kept facts about them hidden. Only thing we may know, from the one sentence at their Soundcloud is; “in chuggy 4/4 beats we trust” = Speaking about Chugawamba is plural, they trust in chuggy 4/4 beats, and further, they live somewhere in the US. The one track at their Soundcloud is Igba, a modern bass track with upfront congas/cowbells (not sure which) and an atmospheric synth background.

A few days ago, we posted the new Simian Mobile Disco single Seraphim video on our Facebook-page, excited about the news of a new album release, Unpatterns, in near future. Seraphim is a sensitive low-beat house track to start with, but let it grow on you and that 303 works it. Great video too. B-side of the single is Put Your Hands Together (preview). More upbeat, and surely something that could work well on the dancefloor. Impressions for both of two tracks is, that we can expected a more warm album, than former album Delicacies. But we’ll have to wait with such a conclusion. The more warm sound does fit SMD, though we loved the Delicacies-album.

Unpatterns is expected to be released 14th of May on Wichita Records, but can already be pre-ordered HERE. If you the Seraphim track, it can be bought on Itunes together with Put Your Hands Together

Midnight Munchies label is back with a single from belgian Polydor. It got that oldskool Roland sound we love so much, and on vocal Gustaph! If you love Light Years Moderation track or the sound of amazing Azari & III, you’ll probably love Future Past as much. The single is already supported by Boris Dlugosch, Proxy, Riton, Switch, Style Of Eye, Mixhell, Punks Jump Up, Mason, Don Rimini, John Roman. You can preview all the remixes of the single HERE or just buy it HERE. Better check them remixes.

Try find something that could be more indie than this? Challenge accepted? Besides, it’s actually good music. A hard thing to admit, because we are indie.

Sound Of Sumo‘s new signing Tee Circus, seems to be kinda wonder kid. He had his first vinyl-release in the age of 17, and recently playing Ministry Of Sound at DJ MAG’s party. Tee Circus’ genre preferences is hard to define, but the main purpose is bass music for the dancefloor. End april his +8 EP will be out on SOS, it includes 2 original + 3 remixes. Preview of tracks HERE. Enjoy this free track, which shows of his talent.

Give In 2 FaltyDL and Machinedrum‘s first collab, though made over 1 year ago. It’s massive! And must be one of the hottest tracks right now on the underground bass music scene. And which bass lover can disagree on this heavy duty fast but yet slow pumping stomper? Don’t let the amazing intro fool you!

Last notice! This weekend in Copenhagen, there is loads of good music. We suggest, BULK Weekend at Culture Box, and of course Dunkel Radio Party with KiNK (live) and Justin Martin at our favorite Dunkel Bar.
